Pneumatic conveying is the transport of air by means of air in a suitably designed pipeline. The speeds should not be less than about 25 m/s. Fuels for the pneum. promotion should be homogenous fractions. The fuel particles are usually not larger than 10 mm. The fuel is separated by mechanical (cyclone) or filtering separators.
