Filter Technology

Our filter technology ensures compliance with strict emission regulations

Legal particulate matter limits:
In Germany and the EU, strict limits apply to small and medium-sized firing systems. For new firing systems, the permissible particulate matter emissions are typically 20 mg/Nm³ (13% O₂), with future trends leaning towards even stricter requirements. The NGFL meets these requirements by a wide margin – thus making an active contribution to environmental and health protection.

High-efficiency particulate matter separation with the Ceramic fine dust filter NGFL

The ceramic particulate filter NGFL is the ideal solution for modern, automatically biomass firing systems with high performance requirements. Its compact, modular design makes it easy to integrate into existing systems and offers maximum flexibility. Thanks to microporous ceramic filter elements, the NGFL achieves an outstanding separation performance of up to 99.99% – and that without a pre-cyclone separator. In practice, this means a fine dust content of usually less than 2.5 mg/Nm³ (at 13 % O₂) – a value that is often below the detection limit and remains well below the legal limits.

The filter elements are heat-resistant up to over 1000 °C and insensitive to flying sparks or embers. Automatic cleaning is controlled by time or differential pressure using compressed air and guarantees low-maintenance and permanently efficient operation.

The compact HZF cyclone filter combination is the most efficient way to separate fine dust

The HZF high-performance cyclone filter combination is specially designed for automatically biomass firing systems with a nominal heat output of up to 260 kW. This product combines a cyclone and a fine dust filter into a single, space-saving system. It is perfect for confined installation spaces.

The system is low-maintenance and wear-free thanks to the controlled, automatic cleaning of the filter and electrodes. You can customise the flow conditions to get the best separation performance and efficiency in a wide range of system configurations.

The HZF is the compact and reliable solution for meeting strict particulate matter limits and ensuring safe, environmentally friendly system operation.

High-performance cyclone dust collector HZE for automatically biomass firing systems

The HZE high-performance cyclone dust collector has been specially developed for use in automatically fed, high-performance firing systems. Its robust steel housing is fitted with high-quality 80 mm thick insulation all round, which ensures optimum thermal efficiency and long-lasting operation.
The installation of the flue gas fan is particularly flexible: it can be mounted either on top of the dust extractor or on the side to save space – ideal for confined spaces.

The HZE can also be retrofitted and is ideally suited as a preliminary stage for downstream filter systems. When using a Nolting fine dust filter, an additional dedusting unit is not required. The HZE therefore offers an economical and adaptable solution for reducing emissions in modern biomass systems.
